Margaret A. Morrow, daughter of Wm. and Nancy Montgomery, was born 3 September 1830 in Pulaski Co., MO and fell asleep in Jesus at the home of her son, G.L. Davis one mile north of Buffalo on 22nd June 1898; age 68 yr less 2 mo and 11 days. She was twice married - first to Wm. M. Davis who was killed by lightning 38 years ago in sight of the house where Margaret died. By this union five sons and one daughter was born, all of whom are living; one brother, T.B. Montgomery and one sister, Mrs. E. Leckie. Her second marriage was to Rev. D J Morrow of the Baptist Church who preceded her. One of her sons, J.A. Davis, is the worthy preacher of the M E Church South. She was buried in Crudgington cemetery beside her first husband.
