OBITUARY: Beaver Dam Argus, Thursday, August 1, 1940, page 5.

Funeral services were held at St. Peter church in this city at nine-thirty o'clock Saturday morning for Miss Florence Schweiger, who passed away in death at Milwaukee at nine-thirty o'clock Wednesday morning, July 24th, after a years illness. The solemn high mass was read by Rev. Nellen of Milwaukee, assisted by Rev. Koenig and Rev. Kasper. Interment was in St. Peter cemetery.

Miss Schweiger had spent all but a few years of her life as a resident of this city. During late years she had been employed at Gary, Ind., and during her recent illness had made her home with her sister, Frances, in Milwaukee. She was born in this city on June 14th, 1898.

Her father and a brother preceded her in death and she is survived by her mother of the town of Beaver Dam and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Ben Pabst, Herbert, James, Mrs. Edward Roedl of this city, Mrs. George Hammer of the town of Beaver Dam and Frances Schweiger of Milwaukee.
