He was born Feb. 2, 1888, at Dayton, Idaho, the son of John F. and Ada Margaret Clifford Dees.
He received his elementary education at Dayton and also attended the Preston High School.
He was married to Lenora Hulet, June 24, 1908, in the Logan LDS Temple. Following their marriage they lived at Dayton until 1920 when they moved to Idaho Falls and have lived here since.
He has farmed in the Idaho Falls area until he retired in 1955. He also worked at the Lincoln sugar factory and the Idaho Potato Growers.
They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary seven years ago.
Survivors besides the widow are the fllowing sons and daugthers: Eldon M. Dees, Glen H. Dees, Mrs. Jay (Georgia) Eckerseley, and Mrs. Raymond (Barbara) Robinson, all of Idaho Falls; Wayne H. Dees, Hamilton, Mont.; 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
