Mrs. A. E. Basford Rites Wednesday
Resident of Near Quaker City Succumbs
Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Basford, Quaker City R. D. passed away at her home Sunday evening, death resulting from cerebral hemorrhage.
Mrs. Basford was born near Salesville, Ohio on April 4, 1862, and was the daughter of Robert and Mary Mills Johnson.
She is survived by four children: Maggie Basford of the home, Mrs. Bessie Rossiter and Mrs. Edna McVicker, both of Akron, Ohio, and Ledrew Basford of the home. Two children are deceased. She is also survived by a brother, Dick Johnson of Quaker City R. D, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Graham of Barnesville. Her Husband, Roland Basford, preceded her in death on December 31, 1919.
Mrs. Basford was a member of the Quaker City M. E. church and the pastor, Rev. A. A. Gilmore, will conduct funeral services to be held in Mt. Zion church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be made in Mt. Zion cemetery. The body was removed to the Eberley Funeral Home at Quaker City and prepared for burial and returned to the home Monday evening.
