A graveside funeral service will be in the West Side District Cemetery for longtime Maricopa resident, Wayne Bell, 65. The pastor of Taft First Assembly of God, will officiate.

Mr. Bell was born in Parkin, Arkansas on May 25, 1946 and passed away at his home in Maricopa, California on July 8, 2011.

He had worked in the general construction business as a heavy equipment operator for the last 40 years and had lived in Maricopa for the last 46 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on old cars and especially enjoyed the times when he entered his '55 Chevy in car shows. He also loved the times he spent with his grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents (Lonnie and Katherine Bell), his brother (Herman Bell), and his sister (Brenda Floyd). Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, his daughter and her husband, his step-sons, his grandsons, his sisters, and his brothers and their wives.

Visitation will be at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
