|Death: ||Apr. 14, 1823|
Son of Capt. Samuel Torrence and Jemimah Parke.
Ezra Torrance was a private in the Revolutionary War, from Woodbury. His name is mentioned in the family records, but no details as to his family. The History of Fairfield County, Ohio, affords some clue thereto: "Mr. Ezra Torrance, a medical practitioner, came to Lancaster County, Ohio, in 1802, and died there April 14, 1823. He left a minor son, Thomas Torrance and a daughter, Delilah Torrance. His wife's name, as shown on deeds, was Ann."
