Verona Boyce Thomas, 86, of Fulton, died Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at her home.
She was born June 3, 1916, in Callaway County, the daughter of the late Con and Lillie Bernice (Smith) Boyce.
Survivors include a daughter, Kenda Troutman of Fulton, two grandchildren, Terry Troutman and Kenda L. Troutman.
She was also preceeded in death by a daughter.
Verona Thomas owned and operated her own beauty shop for more than sixty years. She was a member of the First Christian Church and was a Past Matron of the Eastern Star Chapter 35. She was also a member of the Missouri State Hair Fashion Committee.
Memorial services begin at 2:00pm Saturday at Maupin Funeral Home with the Reverand Mike Crowson officiating. Internment will be at the Mt. Carmel Cemetary. Visitation is from 12:00pm until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home with an Eastern Star Service at 1:00pm.
Memorials are suggested to the Masonic Temple Association or to the Garrett Animal Shelter or the Callaway County Senior Center.
