Mrs. Marion Con Barnes, widow of Henry Barnes, of Rt. 31, died Monday in St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born in Main she lived in Coventry 55 years. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church of Coventry. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Elsa Whittmann of Manchester; two grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Memorial services are Friday at 11 a.m. in the Second Congregational Church. Burial will be at the family's convenience. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Congregational Church's memorial fund. The Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic, is making arrangements.
