Fred C. Sluss, civil engineer, died at his home near Sevierville, Tenn., last Monday. He was born and reared in Tazewell County, a son of the late James and Clarinda Sluss.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Frances Hayes, of Thompson Valley, and eight children and two brothers, F. Sluss and M.T. Sluss, both of Route 1, Bluefield, VA.
