Charles L. Bracey Sr., a retired mechanical contractor, died Monday of a heart attack at his home in Knoxville, Tenn. He was 60. Mr. Bracey was born in Oklahoma City and lived in Covington before moving to Knoxville many years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Dills Bracey; four sons, Dennis W. Bracey of Sevierville, Tenn., Norris T. Bracey of Covington, Charles L. Bracey Jr. of Wiggins, Miss., and Darryl L. Bracey; a stepdaughter, Tiffany Dills Flynn; two brothers, Nelson Bracey of Bogalusa and Paul Bracey of McComb, Miss.; and 10 grandchildren.
A funeral will be held today at 10 a.m. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home, 610 Ave. F, Bogalusa. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Burial will be in Mitchell Chapel Church Cemetery in Crossroads, Miss.
