YOUNTVILLE - Betty Ann Webster, 79, a resident of the Veterans Home in Yountville since 1990, died Oct. 16, 2009.
Born June 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Adams and Florence Tanner Avery. A loving wife and homemaker, she also served as a foster parent to more than 150 children over a span of 25 years.
Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Stillman. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ronald Webster; daughter, Layne Bogdanov, her husband, Peter, and their children, Matthew, Charissa and Andrew; son, David Webster and his wife, Shari; and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Webster will be remembered in a memorial service 10 a.m. Thurs., Nov. 12, at the Veterans Home Memorial Chapel, Yountville. Private committal was at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, with Chaplain Lee Shaw officiating. Treadway & Wigger Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
