Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Alexandria.
Mr. Buxton, a retired logger, died Friday in an Oakdale hospital.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Selin Thompson Buxton; four sons,
Harrison, Hubbard, Ralph and J.C. Buxton, all of Oakdale; two
daughters, Mrs. Callie Willis and Mrs. Eula Doyle, both of Oakdale; three brothers, William Buxton of Pitkin and Homer and Ellis Buxton both of Oakdale.
Also, two sisters, Mrs. Alvina Doyle of Glenmora and Mrs. Mary Hinson of Oakdale; 36 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
