ERVE
Erve, George Thomas, Jr., of Kalamazoo Township. Surrounded by his loving family, George departed this life on Monday, May 16, 2011.
George is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lula Erve; two daughters, Jackie Erve of Aurora, IL., and Janis Richard of Kalamazoo, MI.; two sons, Derek Dooley (Janet) of Little Rock, AR., and James Erve of Aurora, IL.; one sister, Ella Mae Harris (Essie) of Chicago, IL.; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 12:30 PM from the Whitley Memorial Funeral Home, 330 North Westnedge Ave., (269) 488-2401 with Pastor Karl B. Wallace officiating. Interment to follow with full military honors in Fort Custer National Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
