He was born July 18, 1921, in Hanover, the son of the late Aaron M. and Anna R. (Dick) Biddle.
Mr. Biddle served with the U.S. Army during WWII and was employed with National Can, Hanover for 15 years, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of St. Matthew Church, Hanover and the McSherrystown Home Association. Bud was also a life member of the Littlestown VFW and the Hanover American Legion Post 14.
In addition to his wife, Bud is survived by a brother, Edward F. Biddle, of Hanover; and a sister, Betty Klinedinst, of Hanover.
He was preceded in death by his three siblings, Richard Biddle, John Biddle and Evelyn Feltch.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Biddle will be July 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Wetzel Funeral Home, Hanover, with Rev. Jack R. Hoffman officiating. Interment with full military honors conducted by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
