William O. Miller Dies This Morning
William O. Miller, 35, of Wren, O., manager of the Willshire Grain & Supply Co. at Wren, died at 12:15 o'clock this morning at the Adams County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient one week. He had been ill of cancer for two years.
Born in Willshire, O., Feb. 25, 1927, he was a son of Oscar and Mae Slusser-Miller, and was married to Eloise Ketrow Aug. 6, 1947.
Mr. Miller, prominent in civic activities in the Wren and Willshire area, was a member of the Willshire U. B. Church, the Wren Lions club, and the Wren Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Linda, at home; his mother, Mrs. Floyd Strickler of Willshire; five sisters, Mrs. Heber (Inola) Alspaugh of Willshire, Mrs. Clair (Mildred) Kelsey of Salem, Mrs. Calvin (Margaret) August of Willshire, Mrs. Gordon (Eileen) Suman of Decatur Route 6, and Mrs. Robert (Louise) Brown of Rockford, O.; and five brothers, Hilton Miller of Wilshire Route 1, Paul Miller of Redkey, Jay Miller of Celina, O., Robert Miller of Willshire, and Jimmy Miller of Rockford.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Willshire U. B. Church, the Rev. Jerry Fair and the Rev. Chester Hirschy officiating. Burial will be in the Willshire Cemetery. The body was removed to the Zwick Funeral Home, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday. The body will lie in state at the church from 12 noon Tuesday until time of the services.
