BASIC INFO: Increase Allen (1660-1723) was born in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, the son of Ralph Allen (1615-1691) and his wife Susanna Swift (1622-1691).

The "Genealogy Nazis" refuse to accept Increase's parents information, thus I have removed his parents from Find a Grave. Feel free to ask me what the "traditional" information is on them.

In 1687, in Dartmouth, Increase Allen married Rachel Allen (1658-1731). Increase Allen died in 1723 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. CHILD: Elizabeth (Allen) Tiffany (1704-1796, who married James Tiffany, Jr. (1697-1776). Find a Grave #40146807.

BURIAL: Increase was a Quaker. At the time of his death in Dartmouth, the only Quaker cemetery was the Friends Burial Ground. No stone has been found, probably because it was the early Quaker custom not to mark the graves.

SOURCES: has five records for Increase: a "Family Data Collection - Births" record, a "U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900" record, a "Family Data Collection - Deaths" record, a "Family Data Collection - Individual Records" record, and a "Millennium File" record.
