Rosina was born 4 Aug 1843 in Rufemacht, Bern, Switzerland, her parents are Samuel Bigler and Anna Augustberg. She was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints on Tuesday 5 Feb 1868. She emigrated to the United States 1n 1869.

Notes: "DEPARTURES. -- The steamship Minnesota, Captain Price, sailed from this port for New York, on Wednesday, the 25th instant, with 443 souls of the Saints on board, under the presiding care of Elder Marius Ensign.
"Wed. 25. [Aug. 1869] . . . The steamship Minnesota sailed from Liverpool, England, with 443 Saints, in charge of Marius Ensign. The company arrived at New York Sept. 6th, and at Ogden Sept. 16."

Rosina became the plural wife of John Heyrend Sr. They were married 22 Nov 1869 in the Salt Lake Endowment House. (FHL Film #183396)
One son ,Daniel, was born to Rosina and John on 23 Dec 1870 in Providence, Cache, Utah.
Rosina was not happy with her situation and she left John and Providence.
She later married Henry Bake. 2 Nov 1872 she was baptized a member of the Reorganized LDS Church.
Rosina and Henry had two children: Rosa Bake born about 1873 in the Utah Territory and David Henry Bake 11 Sep 1875 Elkhorn, Oneida, Idaho.
Rosina and Henry seperated before his death 2 Mar 1901.
