Governor Moodie was removed from office after it was discovered he was actually from Minnesota when he ran for Governor of North Dakota and that he had voted in a 1932 municipal election in Minnesota. In order to be eligible for governor, an individual has to have lived in the state for five consecutive years before the election. After leaving the Governors office, Moodie became an administrator for the states Housing Administration. He would spend the remainder of his life in Spokane, Washington working as the financial editor for the publisher of the Spokane Chronicle. (bio by: Lisa)
