Professional Baseball Player/Pitcher. Born in San Francisco, California, in 1946, Frisella made his major league debut on July 27, 1967, with the New York Mets. He played for the New York Mets through 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972. He also played for the Atlanta Braves in 1973, and 1974, San Diego Padres in 1975, St. Louis Cardinals in 1976, and Milwaukee Brewers in 1976. He had 57 saves, a total pitchings of 611, winnings/losses of 34-40, and an ERA of 3.32, in his total career of only 9 years. His many nicknames included 'Bear.' Frisella was killed on January 1, 1977, in a dune buggy accident near Phoenix, Arizona. He was 30 years old. (bio by: K)

Danny-You had an incredible fork ball. I remember you striking out Jim Hickman,Randy Hundley, and Fergie Jenkins in oneinning, at Wrigley in 1970. They could not come close to touching your stuff. Very craft. R.I.PYou were taken too soon.|
