Mrs. Vera Taylor Galey,83, formerly of Beaver died Wednesday, April 26, 1967 following an extended illness. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver; Harrisburgh Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution; Colonial Dames and the Magna Carta Dames.
Her husband, the late George Banks Galey, died in 1949. Surviving are a son, John Taylor Galey of Pittsburgh; a grandson, John T. Galey, Jr. of Pinedale, Wyoming; a granddaughter, Margaret Elizabeth Galey of Pittsburgh; a sister, Mrs. James H. Duff of Harrisburg and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on April 29, 1967 by the Rev. Edward M.Thomas, associate pastor of her church. Interment was in Beaver Cemetery.
