Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Walter McHaffy at her home in Indianapolis Saturday. Mrs. McHaffy was formerly Miss Helen Shelley, daughter of Charles Shelley and wife of Newcastle. The husband and one daughter, one and one-half years of age , survive.
The body will be brought to Newcastle this evening at 6 o'clock and taken to the home of Mrs. emma McDorms on South Fourteenth street. The funeral will be held at the methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
