Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Cabin Boy in the Union Navy. His true name was John Anglin. His citation reads "Served on board the USS Pontoosuc during the capture of Fort Fisher and Wilmington, 24 December 1864 to 22 January 1865. Carrying out his duties faithfully during this period, C.B.
