College Place - Ella Marie Remboldt-Johnson, 90, died March 7, 2002, at St. Mary Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at Village Seventh-day Adventist Church; Walt Meske will officiate.

She was born April 29, 1911, in Bowden, ND to Adam and Julia Fromm Remboldt. On June 1, 1941, she married Edwin Johnson. They moved to College Place in 1965.

She was a homemaker and a nurse's aide at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was known for her sense of humor and for always having a pot of soup prepared on Friday evenings.

She was a member of Village Seventh-day Adventist Church in College Place.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters; two sons; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Walter, Adam, George and Albert Remboldt; and four sisters, Kathryn Rutt, Pauline Johnson, Leah Remboldt and Helen Cowles.
