LINCOLN TOWN: A solemn requiem high Mass for John B. Laurent, 88, native of the Town of Lincoln was offered at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Catholic church, Two Rivers and burial was in Holy Trinity cemetery, Casco..


Mr. Laurent died last week Wednesday at his Two Rivers home after a short illness. He was born April 6, 1875 in the Town of Lincoln, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Laurent and when the family moved to Tow Rivers, Mr. Laurent was employed by Mirro Aluminum company until 1942 when he became and employee of the City of Two Rivers Park department. His wife, the former Susan Kipping died Jan. 10, 1945.


Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Emanuel Ruelle, Miss Sara Laurent and Mrs. Matt Krummel all of Two Rivers; Mrs. Edward Zeman, of Kewaunee and Mrs. Randall Coppens of Milwaukee; two sons, Edwar of Two Rivers and Elwyn of Milwaukee; a brother Jule Laurent of Green Bay 15 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren
