Mary Lou Brady, 68, of Rt. 6, Buckhannon, the Tennerton Community, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at her home.
She was born July 8, 1936, in Upshur County, a daughter of the late Earl B. and Iva M. Wilson Sayre.
She was united in marriage on Aug. 17, 1957, to Noel L. Brady, who preceded her in death on March 31, 1996.
She is survived by one son, Douglas A. Brady of Weston; one daughter, Diane L. Swiger of Buckhannon; three grandchildren, Amy Swiger of Buckhannon and Casey and Keith Brady, both of Weston; one sister, Beulah Carver of Buckhannon; and two nieces, Barbara Campbell and Mary Ellen Lemons, both of Buckhannon.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Burton O'Neal Sayre, and one brother-in-law, Noah Ras Carver.
Mrs. Brady was a member of the AARP and an honorary member of the Triple T Campers Club and Family Motor Coach Association. She was a 1954 graduate of the Buckhannon-Upshur High School and a member of the Tennerton United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m., also at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park Cemetery. The Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
