She attended school at Attucks, graduating in 1933. She and Louis Ryan were united in marriage on November 17, 1939 in Vinita and lived their entire lifetime. Lois was a homemaker and a care taker, who enjoyed taking Bananas to the nursing homes and visiting with the sick.
Lois leaves behind her a brother and his wife; two sister-in-laws; two nieces; three nephews; nephews wife; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in by her husband Louis in 1981, and her parents, four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ryan will be held Friday July 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home with Rev. Farris Downing officiating with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Vinita under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Ryan's name to the Salvation Army (Food Bank) P.O. Box 147 Vinita, Oklahoma 74301.
