Stand-up comedian George Miller used to appear on close friend David Letterman's late-night talk show. He appeared on the show more than any other comic. In all, Miller appeared on NBC's "Late Night with David Letterman" and CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" 56 times in two decades. Miller was a caustic, but clean, monologist needling Letterman while showcasing his latest lines and laments about everyday life. He moved to Los Angeles in the late 1960s and performed regularly at several comedy clubs.
