He played for the teams, Montreal Nationals (1903 to 1905), Michigan Soo Indians (1904 to 1907), Montreal Shamrocks (1907 to 1908), Edmonton Eskimos (1907 to 1908), Renfrew Millionaires (1908 to 1909), Vancouver Millionaires (1913 to 1914), and the Montreal Canadiens (1909 to 1923). In 1906 and 1907 he was the IHL's First Team All Star. During his tenure with the Montreal Canadiens he helped them win the Stanley Cup Championship. Among Pitre's many nicknames are, Bullet Shot, Pit, and Old Folks. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1962. (bio by: K)
