| Birth: | Dec. 14, 1902 | | Death: | Apr. 17, 1982 |  Professional Bowler. Born in Lockport, New York, in 1902, he was a highly successful bowling champion. He is best remembered for bowling three successive games in 1939 in a record that remained unbroken for 50 years. He bowled games of 297, 289, and 300, for a total of 886 pins in an American Bowling Congress sanctioned event. In 1946 and 1947 he was named to the First All-American Bowling Team. In 1958 he became a charter member of the Professional Bowlers Association, and served as the first treasurer of the Board of Governors until his death in 1982. In 1960 Brandt was inducted into the American Bowling Congress Hall of Fame of both Lockport, New York, and Buffalo, New York's Bowling Associations. In 1982 he also became a member of the New York State Bowling Association Hall of Fame. (bio by: K)
