US Congressman, US Senator, Maine Governor. He served as Governor of Maine from 1925 to 1929. He was elected as a Republican to represent Maine's 3rd Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1935 to 1941. Finally, he was elected as a Republican Senator from Maine to the United States Senate, serving from 1941 to 1952.

Time is a great equalizer. History and it's characters have a way of looking different as time passes and more information comes to light. Some Mainers have faith that Ralph Owen Brewster will be treated with more grace in time. -
