"Sue" Curtis, 66, died at her home in Idaho Falls of natural causes. She was born at Minden, LA, to Morris Bert and Claudia Lee Donaho McKemie. She grew up in Louisiana and graduated Natchitoches High School. She then attended Northwestern University in Louisiana for a year.
She married Ted Lee Curtis December 8, 1956, in Natchitoches, LA. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1957, where they lived ever since. She was a homemaker and mother and worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell, at the deli in Albertson's, and retired from District #93, where she worked in food services.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the scouting program, Primary, Young Women, and as a visiting teacher. She liked to bowl, dance, spend time with her family, attend TOPS, crochet, and do puzzles.

She was preceded by her father Bert McKemie, and granddaughter Amy Curtis. Funeral Services held June 19, 2003, at Idaho Falls Coltman 1st Ward, 12448 North 5th East. Burial in Ucon Cemetery directed by Wood Funeral Home.
