James Parker Landis
Birth: Jul. 20, 1843
Death: Dec. 1, 1924

Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Chief Bugler in the Union Army in the 1st Pennsylvania Cavalry. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on April 5, 1865 at Paines Crossroads, Virginia. His citation reads "Capture of flag." (bio by: Don Morfe)
