Neatie Cordelia Sanders, a daughter to James Sanders and Eleanor Tanner, Cherokee County, Texas and young minister Rev. John Lawrence Wright, (born Sep 18, 1886 Angelina Co., TX), son of Rev. John Wesley Wright and Elizabeth Louise Tiller, were in love. John Lawrence Wright and Neatie Sanders, age 16, married May 6, 1911 in Bossier City, Bossier Parish, Louisiana. The following year their only child Neatie Marie Wright arrived (b June 21, 1912 Angelina Co., TX - d Jan 23, 1996 Angelina Co., TX. A few months after daughter Neatie Marie's birth, John Lawrence Wright, age 26, passed away from illness Dec 31, 1912. Rev. John Lawrence Wright was buried in Ryan Chapel Cemetery, Angelina County, Texas where his paternal grandparents were at rest, and his father Rev. John Wesley Wright would be buried in 1917.
Widowed Neatie Wright, age 19, married James Monroe Wright, age 28, April 27, 1914, Angelina Co., Texas. He was a first cousin to James Lawrence Wright. James was a son of Rev. Christopher Columbus Wright and Martha Rebecca (Ellisor) Wright. Their fathers, John Wesley Wright and Rev. Christopher Columbus Wright were brothers, and sons of Rev. Henry Dawson Wright, first Pastor of Ryan Chapel Methodist-Episcopal Church South, Burke, Angelina County, TX, and wife Martha Ann (Jacks) Wright. This was the first and only marriage of James Monroe Wright.
James Monroe Wright: b May 25, 1886 Grapeland, Houston Co., TX - d Jul 11, 1863 Edgewood, Van Zandt Co., TX. James and Neatie probaly moved to Edgewood to be near his son William Morris Wright's wife Lady Juan Wilder Wright and their grandchildren, being William served in the US Army for several years.
James and Neatie became the parents of four sons:
1. Roy Thomas Wright: b Jan 30, 1915 Lufkin, Angelina Co., TX - d Mar 8, 1976 Edgewood, Van Zandt Co., TX. Mount Hope Cemetery, Wells, Cherokee Co., TX.
2. Henry Alvin Wright: b Oct 25, 1917 Angelina Co., TX - d Apr 26, 1928 Cherokee Co., TX. CHILD. Mount Hope Cemetery, Wells, Cherokee Co., TX. Named by James Monroe Wright to honor his Grandfather Rev. Henry Dawson Wright.
3. John Pershing Wright: b 12:45 am Jan 1, 1920 Wells, Cherokee Co., TX - d Oct 8, 2008 Tyler, Smith Co., TX. John Wright likely met Opal Lucille Nichols Fancher when he was in college and rented a room. In 1940 US Census, Ward 4, Ada City, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma, John Wright, age 20, had completed 2 years of college and was a lodger in home of Lucille Fancher. Lucille Fancher, age 26, divorced, was raising her son Billie Jack, age 6. She worked full time, Asst. Major for Salvation Army. John Pershing Wright and Opal Louise Nichols were married on April 11, 1942 Texas. He was in the military by then. Opal Louise Nichols: b Mar 3, 1914 Longview, Gregg Co., TX - d Jan 3, 2013 Tyler, Smith Co., TX. John Pershing Wright legally adopted her young son in 1948, born during her 1st marriage to George Jacks Fancher (1915 - 1983). His name was William "Bill" Jack Wright. William Jack Wright: b May 21, 1933 Ponca City, Kay Co., OK - d Nov 10, 2004 Tyler, Smith Co., TX. East Mount Cemetery, Hunt Co, TX. John and his beloved wife Opal Lucille were married for almost 68 years. John and Opal Lucille Wright both at rest in Tyler Memorial Park and Cemetery, Tyler, Smith County, Texas.
4. William Morris Wright: b Feb 24,1927 Angelina Co., TX - d Mar 20, 1971 Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., TX. William Morris Wright served in the US Army from 1943 - 1964, was Lt. Colonel. William died unexpectedly from a massive heart attack at age 44. He married (private) whose Father was the Mayor of Edgewood. They had children (private). He was the Owner of a Garage, and lived in Edgewood, Van Zandt Co., TX.

In the Fifteenth Census of The United States, 1930, Angelina County 4th District this family was still residing there.
Neatie Marie Wright, the daughter of John Lawrence Wright and Neatie Cordelia (Sanders) Wright grew up and married Horace Leonard Fancher. They lived in Lufkin, Angelina County, TX. They were buried in Garden of Memories, Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas.
Neatie Cordelia Sanders Wright died in Memorial Hospital, Lufkin, Angelina Co., TX after accidently falling and having a traumatic severe fracture. James and Neatie Wright, their eldest son Roy Thomas Wright, and their young son Henry Alvin Wright are at rest in Mount Hope Cemetery, Wells, Cherokee County, Texas.
