MRS. L.A. FANELLI

Mrs. L.A. (Al) Fanelli, the former Isabelle Crippa, 61, was found dead at her home, 702 B Street, Rock Springs, Thursday, Dec. 8, at about 5:30 p.m.

Mrs. Fanelli, who had fallen from her wheelchair, had been dead from 10 to 12 hours when her body was found, according to Sweetwater County Coroner Peter Vase. She had suffered a fractured hip about ayear ago and had been confined to her bed and a wheelchair since that time, although she was able to get about also with the aid of a cane.

Mrs. Fanelli’s first husband was Edward Crippa, Rock Springs auto dealer, who was appointed U.S. Senator to complete the term of the late Sen. Lester G. Hunt of Wyoming after the latter’s death.

She was married to L.A. Fanelli in July 1966 in Idaho. Survivors, in addition to her husband, are two nephews, Glen M. Eastman of Evanston and John A. Martin of Glendale, Calif., and a niece, Mrs. Walter (Jane) Hill of Casablanca, Morocco.

Mrs. Fanelli, who had been a resident of Rock Springs 37 years, was born Nov. 30, 1905, in Evanston.

Rosary was recited Sunday evening at Rogan Chapel. Funeral services were held Monday morning in Rock Springs, with burial in the Martin family plot at Evanston.

Pallbearers were Fred Magagna, O.E. Bertagnolli, Christian Bunning, John Taylor Jr., Emil Bertagnolli and John Lucas Jr.
