In it she states 'that her husband died in the town of Liberty in the State of Mississippi on the 16th day of January, AD 1835.' Also 'his discharge was lost in the storm at the time of her husband's death.' Another affidavit in the file John's death was caused ' by the falling of his house during a violent storm which blew down the house of the said John Hall and caused his death.'
