Rosa Lee Lynn Clark, 83, died Thursday, July 28 at the residence of her son, Steve (Miriam) Clark. The Tattnall County native was a member of First Baptist Church in Claxton. She and her late husband owned and operated Clarks Sports Shop for a number of years. She loved her handwork embroidery, making pillows, and fishing the Canoochee River.
She was predeceased by her husband, Johnny M. Clark; parents, Hoke and Ethel Lynn, and a granddaughter, Amanda Dryden.
She is survived by two son and daughters-in-law, Mike (Nancy) Clark of Claxton, Steve (Miriam) Clark of Claxton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa C. Norton of Claxton and Kathi (Thomas) Brannen of Kathleen; a sister, Lucille Coleman of Collins; grandchildren, Michael (Sloane) Clark of Claxton, Charesse Clark of Statesboro, Caleb (Shea) Clark of Claxton, Casey Clark of Statesboro, and Lori Oliver of Reidsville; great-grandchildren, Mathew Oliver of Reidsville and Gabe Dryden of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Friday, July 29, at Mellie Nesmith Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 30, at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tab Smith and Rev. Tony Smith officiating.
Pallbearers will be Reggie Wilbanks, Mike Pinckard, Jack Pinckard, Ralph Bradley, Theron Deloach, and Talmadge C. Seay.
Burial will be in Brewton Cemetery.
Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
