Curtis L. Grimm, 63, of Cheyenne passed away Feb. 13 at University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colo.
He was born May 30, 1946, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, to Betty and Don Grimm.
Mr. Grimm served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired as a civil service mechanic at F.E. Warren Air Force Base after 33 years. He worked at Two Bar Bowl. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, camping and eating out with family and friends.
Mr. Grimm is survived by his wife, Sharon Grimm, whom he married May 13, 1994; daughter, Tammy (Tony) Followell of Cheyenne; two sons, Kevin Grimm of Illinois and Michael Newman of Iowa; two grandsons, Dustin Followell and Derrick Richie of Cheyenne; three sisters, Jean Ann Elerich of Iowa, Patsy (Darrel) Troncin of Cheyenne and Shelly (Dan) Kawecki of Missouri; two brothers, Gerald (Terry) Grimm of Cheyenne, Jim (Karolyn) Grimm of South Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Kathryn (Gary) Cheatham of Texas, and Mary Ann Biddix of Florida; brother-in-law, Bill (Mary Jane) Strickland of Cheyenne; mother and father-in-law, B.A. and Geneva Strickland of Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Nila Grimm; daughter, Michelle Newman; parents, Betty and Don Grimm; sisters, Iris Brown and Carolyn Marie Grimm; and great-grandson, Steven Richie.
