She was the 1st wife of my husband's Great-Grandfather.
Stephany Ann "Fannie" Oates and George Solomon Hutto were married 8 July 1849 in Henry County, Alabama.
A few years later they moved to Texas with her parents, James & Mary Oates.
George & Fannie had 3 daughters, all born in Texas.
Mary Elizabeth Hutto married Nicholas Robertus "Burt" Wagstaff, Eliza Jane Hutto married James A. Wagstaff, and Henrietta Hutto married John Haight.
"Fannie" died when Henrietta was a little over a year old.
The above info was provided to me by Bettye Bragg Wagstaff, who has now passed on.
A short time after Fannie died, George Solomon Hutto married Mary Arminta Wagstaff. George and Mary are my husband's Great-Grandparents.
