BELTON — Frances McHenry, 85, of Belton died Tuesday, June 28, in a Belton nursing home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Dossman Funeral Home with the Rev. Loyd Hall and the Rev. Joe Baisden officiating.

Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Belton.

Mrs. McHenry was born Dec. 21, 1925, in Temple to Fred Harrison and Zelma Cownover Chaney. She married Cyril McHenry on April 9, 1947, in Belton. She was a lifelong resident of the Temple and Belton area. She was a member of the Belton Church of Christ.

Her husband preceded her in death on April 16, 2010.

Survivors include a son, David McHenry of Temple; two daughters, Diane Hall and Brenda Mraz McHenry, both of Temple; three brothers, Fred Chaney of Waco, Pat Chaney of Graham and Gary Chaney of Marble Falls; six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to any children's home.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
