Patricia Ann Black, 55, of 102 North Fourth Street, Wolcott, died at 8:25 a.m. Sunday at Home Hospital in Lafayette. She had been in failing health for one year.
The daughter of Earl Gause and Mary Wolfe (both deceased), she was born September 16, 1933, in Farmington, Ohio. She was a resident of Wolcott eight years and formerly lived in Remington.
She was married January 19, 1951, in Valparaiso, to Raymond Allen Black, who survives.
She was educated at Farmington High School, graduating in 1950. She was a housewife.
Survivors include two sons, Ray A. Black of McCoysburg, Ind.; Russell W. Black of Wolcott; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Pamela) Weller of Remington; Brenda Black of Wolcott; five sisters, Mrs. Charles (Sue) Hiller [sic] and Mrs. Betty Robinson, both of Farmington, Ohio; Mrs. Lola Dew [sic] of Cortland, Ohio; Mrs. Ruth Rogers of Newton Falls, Ohio; Mrs. Ron (Dorothy) Ellis of Warren, Ohio; two brothers, Russell Gause of Saginaw, Mich.; William Gause of Farmington, Ohio. She had three grandchildren and was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Jackson Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Virl Black officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
