She had lived in the McCormick community of Archer County from 1933-1947. She moved into Archer City and had worked in the school cafeteria from 1954-1965. She worked at the Wichita Falls State Hospital from 1965 until her retirement in April, 1972. She also worked summers in the cafeteria of the Archer County Hospital and the Wildcatter Drive-in.

She was a former member of First Baptist Church of Archer City where she had worked in the church nursery. She moved to Olney in 1975 where she was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She moved to Graham in May of 1992 where she lived for the past five years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Graham.

Survivors: two daughters - Corina Knighon of Magnolia and Dorothy Brown of Graham; three sons - Joe Eustace of Graham, Horton Eustace of Chico, Jack Eustace of Chico; sister - Pearlene Oliphant of Abilene; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one grandson - Todd Wiley Eustace and one great-granddaughter - Laine Brook Taton.
