MRS. SALLIE ROSE BURIED WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Sallie Rose daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olin Dyer, was born February 21, 1877 at Huron. Died Monday, July 2, 1946 at9 a.m.. She was married to Kin Rose in 1895 and he passed away October 10, 1924.
At the age of 16 she was converted and united with the Huron Baptist
Church were she held membership throughout her lifetime. All her life was spent in Hill County. Mrs. Rose was the mother of six children, four of whom survive; Mrs. Lena Beasley of Whitney; Mrs. Elma Epps of Hillsboro; Mrs. Mamie Reid of Whitney; Cleo Rose of Hillsboro; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two sisters; Mrs. Ollie Cupp of Whitney, Mrs. Ola Turner of Cleburne and one brother, Wilburn Dyer of Hillsboro.Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Whitney at 3 o'clock Wednesday July 3 conducted by Rev. B. E. Wolber and Rev. F.E. Weller and Rev. William E. Lee of Hillsboro. Interment in Fort Graham Cemetery.
