José María Pérez, age 75, a resident of Albuquerque, NM for 27 years and formerly of Bernalillo, NM, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 12, 1997, following an illness.
José María is survived by his two daughters, Marvine Barboa of Albuquerque, NM and Dorothy Pérez of Minnesota, two sons, Joe Tom Pérez and Richard Pérez, both of Albuquerque, NM, two sisters, Felia Gutíerrez and Dolores Quintana, three brothers, Emiliano Pérez, Manuel Pérez and Henry Pérez, all of Bernalillo, NM, 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
José María was preceded in death by his wife, Frances, two sons, Gilbert and Frank and daughter, Darlene.
José María was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Lumber and Sawmill Workers of America.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Albuquerque, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Joel Garner, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM.
