Lucille Meeks Hendrickson, 95 of Hilliard passed away June 24, 2011 at Life Care Center of Hilliard.

She was born in Ware County, Georgia May 12, 1916 to Robert Henry and Annie Bell Byrd Meeks.

She was the oldest of thirteen siblings and the longest living. Ms. Hendrickson was a member of Folkston Church of God.

She is survived by two sons: Albert Thrift of Hilliard and Loren Thrift(Eloise) of Blackshear, Georgia; one daughter: Annie Hadden(Eddie) of Hilliard; one Daughter-in-law: Mae Smith of Vidalia, Georgia; one Brother: Donald Meeks(Annie Mae) of Waycross, Georgia; ;10 grandchildren, 18 Great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by a son: Joe Q. Smith.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 27 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Folkston Church of God at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mike Lee and Rev. Bobby Frier officiating.

Burial will follow in Pineview cemetery.
