Last rites were held this afternoon for Mrs. Dorothy A. Hayes, 71, of Blue Mountain. Mrs. Hays died at her home Saturday night.

Services were conducted at Blue Mountain Baptist Church by the Rev. Horace Homesley and the Rev. Charles Mange. Internment was in Edgemont. Usrey in charge. Pallbearers were Louie Owens, Eli Owens, Pelham Allen, Roy Smith, Wiley Feazell and Houston Tankerley.

Surviors include the husband, W.H. Hayes; a son, Hoyt, of Blue Mountain, three daughters, Mrs. Oscar Feazell, of Anniston Rt. 1, Mrs. F.B. English and Mrs. Edmond Sides of Blue Mountain; three brothers, Jim Braddy and the Rev. L.F. Braddy of Gadsden, and R. H. Braddy of New Orleans, and a sister Mrs. J. W. Griffin of Birmingham.
