Perry Freedon Edris, 94, died Tuesday at the home of his son, Lawrence Edris of 160 Bennett Ave.
A native of Oskaloosa, he spent most of his life in that area. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Edris was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the First Congregational Church at Oskaloosa.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Mrs. Mary Frush of Oskaloosa, Mrs. Elvira Wooten of DeLand, Fla., Mrs. Ethel Hagerty of Santa Monica, Calif, and Mrs. Ruth Cooley of San Diego, Calif; six sons, Walter of Bingen, Wash., Howard of Auburn, Wash, Roy of Anchorage, alaska, Edward of Council Bluffs, Charles of Kodiak, Alaska and Carl L. of Jacksonville, Fla; brother Frank of Winter Park, Fla; 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Forest Cemetery, Oskaloosa. Cutler Funeral Home is in charge.
