Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Lee Copeland, 101, of Overton County, were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2000, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Aron Dillon officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Copeland died Tuesday, December 26, 2000, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was a merchant.
Born January 3, 1899, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Louis Henry and Belle Calahan Carr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley E. Copeland.
Survivors include six nephews, Wallace Allred, Albany KY, and Robert Allred, Gary Carr, Tony Carr, Benji Carr, and Jeff Carr, all of Livingston; two nieces, Barbara Carr of Livingston and Pam Allred.
Pallbearers were Gary Carr, Tony Carr, J.C. Ferrill, Horace Poston, Gayron Franklin, and Clyde Hensley.
