He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in Guadacanal and the Philippines, He was a member of Patee Baptist Church.
Mr. Watson was preceded in death by a sister Ellen Cooper; and by three brothers, Virgie, Bill, and Ernest.
Surviving: his wife, Yuvonne Watson of the home; a daughter, Linda K Walden of Lee's Summit,Mo.;a brother, Carl, address unknown; four sisters, Betty Biyer of Mason City, Iowa, edith Miller of Sugar Lake, Mo.;Faye Overstreet of North Glenn, Colo. and Alice Watson of St Joseph, and a grandchild.
