Claude J. 'CJ' Yearian, age 47, of Wilmington, DE, passed away suddenly at home on June 20, 2011. He was born on June 25, 1963 to the late Louisa Butler Yearian.
CJ was a dedicated, hardworking and generous man. He was known for being a jokester and singing and dancing in the morning when he got up (at 3:00 am every morn). He enjoyed dancing, hard-work, being in the sun and fishing with his best friend Scottie (his 'twinkie'). CJ was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Above all, the first and most important love of his life was his wife, Julia, his family and his dog, 'Dallas'. His hugs will be missed most of all.
CJ is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Julia Yearian of Wilmington, DE; children, Claude J. Yearian II and Brenna Yearian, both of Wilmington, DE; brother and sisters, Donna Smith (Butch) of Elkton, MD, Connie Blackwell (Bob) of Newark, DE, Kathie Brogan of New Castle, DE, Michael Yearian (Denise) of Townsend, DE, Claudette Cox of NC, and Vickie Buckalew (Chuck) of West Chester, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by 'his' many kids to whom Brenna introduced to their family and grew to know him as 'Daddy'.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Marci Adamcewicz and brother Neal Yearian.
Services will be held 12:00 pm on Monday, June 27, 2011 at R.T. Foard and Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711, where friends and family may start to call two hours prior.

So many memories, even more words, but not enough time. You taught me all the lessons I needed. Always good for a laugh and just as aggravating. You couldn't be loved more. You were more than a father; you were my Dad. I Love You, Freak - TC
The last words I said to you were 'I Love You'. I'm very grateful for that b/c not many are that lucky. I will always be your little girl, and you will always be my Daddy. There was never anything that you wouldn't do for me and I'm going to miss you for the rest of my life. I Love you, Daddy - Monkey
My brother, CJ, was an energetic, fun-loving man who loved his family whole heartedly. He was the best brother & brother-in-law. I know you're still dancing in heaven. You will be greatly missed. We Love You - Donna & Butch
CJ was like a bull ready to defend any of his family but deep down he was a pussycat & I love him dearly. - Connie
