Sarah (Jackson) Bosworth (1734-1807)
Lewis was married to Sarah "Sally" Davis on August 25, 1816 in Middleboro, Mass.
They had two sons, mentioned in the probate and guardianship records for Lewis Bosworth's estate~~

Per the Savannah, Georgia Vital Records, 1803-1966, Lewis Bosworth died there of "Fever" on November 7, 1822.
Per family stories passed down, Lewis and his younger brother Darius frequently traveled to Savannah, GA to go "live oaking", cutting and hauling timber used for the building of whaling ships.
What ultimately became of Lewis & Sally's younger son, Benjamin, is unknown at this time. On the 1850 U.S. Census, he was living with his mother (widowed for a 2nd time) and his younger half brothers, George & Thomas Nye, in Fairhaven, Mass. His occupation was listed as "mariner." The New Bedford Whaling Museum has records of a Benjamin Bosworth listed among whaling ship crew members for several expeditions.
